Yoga Diet - Focusing Vegetarianism

The yoga diet helps establish an ideal weight and achieve spiritual and emotional balance. However, red meat does not need to be reduced overnight and this can be done gradually by choosing white meat. Likewise, finding nutritious and delicious plant foods will help cut out poultry, eggs, and fish.

It is advisable to eat fresh vegetables and fruits, as well as cook vegetables without damaging their enzyme and vitamin content with the inclusion of a few raw vegetables in the yoga diet. Eating whole grain foods and drinking approximately 2 liters of water per day is mandatory.
